Wellfeed (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application Wellfeed (the “App”).

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the information you authorize those services to share (typically your name and email).

Health & Nutrition Data

We collect information you provide about your meals, nutrition intake, exercise activities, body measurements (height, weight), age, sex, activity level, and dietary goals. This data is used solely to provide you with personalized nutrition tracking and coaching.

Voice & Audio Data

When you use the voice meal logging feature, your device's microphone captures audio which is processed using on-device speech recognition (Apple Speech framework). The transcribed text is sent to our servers for meal parsing. We do not store raw audio recordings.

Usage Data

We may collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the App, including feature usage patterns and crash reports.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide personalized nutrition tracking, meal logging, and AI coaching
• Calculate your calorie goals and macronutrient targets
• Process voice inputs to extract meal and exercise information
• Maintain and improve the App's functionality
• Send important service-related communications
• Process subscription payments through Apple's App Store

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — for secure data storage and user authentication. Data is stored on Supabase's cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest.
• OpenAI — for AI-powered meal parsing and nutrition coaching. Transcribed text (not audio) is sent to OpenAI's API for processing. OpenAI does not use this data for training.
• RevenueCat — for managing in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat processes subscription status but does not access your health data.
• Apple App Store — for processing payments. We do not have access to your payment information.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), secure authentication, and encrypted data storage. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at obbali.bs@gmail.com. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent for data processing

8. Children's Privacy

Wellfeed is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
